Chris McElroy is an almost-local retired NLL player.  He grew up in Orillia and emphasised the message on the ball.  “Look after yourself” refers to making sure that we take care of ourselves physically through exercise, mentally through learning to be good students and spiritually by working hard to find out what our passion is.  This is a direct link to the work Trillium Lakelands DSB is doing through the Feed All Four Initiative. “Look after each other” refers to making sure that we take care of others around us, including our families and friends, as well as those who are less fortunate than we are.

Information about Chris McElroy can be found at the Inside Lacrosse website.
