On Your Marks! Track and Field Day is Coming
We are thrilled to announce that our Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Track and Field event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, with a rain date of Friday, May 22. It promises to be an energetic day of competition and school spirit! We welcome parents and guardians to come out and cheer on our athletes; however, please note that we cannot provide specific timing for individual events throughout the day. To keep our competitors fueled, we will be running a school fundraiser canteen featuring a variety of snacks and beverages (more details on pricing and items will follow soon).
Essential Reminders for Athletes:
- Gear: Please ensure students wear proper running shoes and athletic clothing (shorts and a t-shirt).
- Protection: We strongly encourage everyone to bring a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat to stay hydrated and sun-safe.
Walking Tacos are BACK!
The grade 8 class is excited to be bringing you walking tacos again this year to raise funds for their end-of-year trip!

Intermediate Boys BasketballÂ
A huge thank you to all the parents who helped to make this year’s basketball a success. We appreciate the time and effort you took to help us drive and pick up kids. It wouldn’t have been possible to run this team without your support. We also would like to thank Kyna Rowbotham for leading and coaching our team. The time she took out of her day to help the team grow and learn did not go unnoticed. Mariposa community is amazing!Â
Grade 8 Trip
Please note that we are scheduled to submit our collective fundraising payment early next week. To ensure all credits are applied correctly, please wait until April 30th to submit your final balance. This allows Brightspark time to process our recent fundraising adjustments.
We are currently in the final push for our Little Caesars and Walking Tacos fundraisers! Our goal is to apply these earnings to your accounts before that final payment date to lower your out-of-pocket costs.
