Holiday Concert Update – Additional Show Added!
We are excited to welcome families to our Holiday Concert on Tuesday, December 16th and Wednesday December 17th! Our students have been working hard, and we can’t wait to share their wonderful performances with you.
To accommodate all families, we will now offer three showtimes:
- 2:00 p.m. on December 16
- 6:30 p.m. on December 16 (evening performance)
- 2:00 p.m. on December 17
Please note that Kindergarten classes will participate in the daytime performances only.
If you plan to take your child(ren) home after their daytime performance, please let your teacher know in advance to help avoid congestion in the office. If you have let your child’s teacher know you do not need to sign them out at the office.
We look forward to celebrating the season with our school community during these festive events!
Weather Wear Reminder
As the weather gets colder and wetter, we ask families to please send along extra mittens, socks, and other warm clothing for students to keep in their bags. Having spare items on hand helps ensure students stay dry and comfortable throughout the day. Thank you for your support!
Shoppers Donations
Our annual Shopper’s Delight sale is returning to Mariposa on December 9, 2025. This beloved event gives students the joy of selecting gifts for their family while supporting our community.
How the Sale Works:
- For Students: Students will purchase gifts for their immediate family members at 25 cents per item. Please help your child make a list of who they are shopping for.
- Mentorship: Junior and intermediate students will act as “shopping guides” for the younger classes, helping them select, wrap, and label their items for the journey home.
- The Cause: All proceeds are donated to help families right here in our Mariposa community celebrate the holidays.
Please ensure you send your child(ren) with enough money to purchase gifts for their family members.
Little Britain Food Bank
LIttle Britain Food Bank is proud to offer their toy/gift area again this year for families in need. It will be available on December 18th from 9:30-12noon in the basement of the Oakwood Library. This is for any family in need as there is no cost to the gifts.
