The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit is sending an email to advise our parents and legal guardians about the importance of keeping immunizations up to date. Information about the immunization program for students at the HKPR was distributed to TLDSB schools. The HKPR Health Unit will notify students who are missing immunizations, focussing on students born in 2014, 2008, 2007 and 2006. It is anticipated that parents will be informed sometime in early January 2023.
Please note that although the TLDSB does not oversee immunizations. An informational leaflet from the HKPR Health Unit has been attached below. Any inquiries about the immunization program should be referred to the HKPR Health Unit at 1-866-888-4577 ext 1507. We hope that sending out information in advance will benefit families with concerns or who think their child meets these criteria.
