Student work featured in the annual Juried Exhibit

On March 23, students from Fenelon Falls Secondary School (FFSS), I.E. Weldon Secondary School (IEWSS), and Lindsay Collegiate and Vocational Institute (LCVI) attended an Awards Presentation Reception hosted by the Kawartha Art Gallery.

The reception, which took place at the Pie Eyed Monk in Lindsay, recognized students for their participation in the Kawartha Art Gallery’s Juried Exhibit, an annual exhibit that invites local secondary school student artists to create and submit pieces, featuring a variety of different media, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, digital painting, and mixed media.

The exhibit took place from March 5 to 30 and featured 92 pieces of art by about 85 students from all three secondary schools.
