SOAR
The Mariposa SOAR Group (Students Organize Awareness & Response) is collecting food items for the local food bank. Please consider donating canned goods and cereal. We will collect until November 5th. We are trying to fill the huge food bin in our front lobby to help people in need. Thanks so much for your support!
Farewell to Mr. Walden
This past Friday, we said a heartfelt farewell to our dedicated custodian, Mr. Walden, as he begins his well-deserved retirement. We are so grateful for all his hard work in keeping our school shining!
We also want to extend a warm welcome to Mrs. Toni, who will be taking over custodial duties. Mrs. Toni was here on Thursday and Friday to work with Mr. Walden for a smooth handoff. Please be sure to say hello and welcome her when you see her!

Boys & Girls Club program
This is a reminder for families who use the Boys & Girls Club program. On Friday, November 7th, the before and after school programs will be closed to allow staff to participate in a Professional Development day.
