Vice-Principal Update
After March Break, Mr. McMurray will be moving to Parkview E.S. to begin an exciting new chapter in his role as Vice-Principal. While we are sad to see him leave our school community, we are very happy for him as he takes on this new opportunity.
During his time with us, Mr. McMurray has made a meaningful impact on our school. His care for students, support for staff, and commitment to creating a positive school environment have been greatly appreciated. We are grateful for the time he has spent with our community and for the relationships he has built with students and families.
Following March Break, our school will continue to operate without a Vice-Principal position. Our staff team will continue working together to support students and ensure our school remains a welcoming and supportive place for learning.
Please join us in thanking Mr. McMurray for his contributions to our school and wishing him all the very best at Parkview E.S. We know he will continue to do wonderful things in his new school community.
LCVI – Aubrey Noronha
In February, we welcomed Aubrey Noronha to our school to speak with students and staff about racism, identity, and the importance of recognizing that all cultures are part of the same human family.
LCVI has invited Aubrey back to host a virtual parent workshop, providing families with the opportunity to hear and engage with many of the same messages that were shared with students. This session has been opened up to families from all of LCVI’s feeder schools.
The workshop will take place on March 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. A poster was included in the email with this week’s update. We encourage families to attend this meaningful session and continue these important conversations at home.

Please note that the school office will also be closed during this time, and regular school operations will resume when students return following the break.
