Proud News from the Cross Country Front!
A huge congratulations to all of our student-athletes who competed in this week’s cross country meet! We are incredibly proud of their dedication and hard work.
Our runners delivered amazing results across the board, including:
- 1st Place: Intermediate Boys
- 3rd Place & 6th Place: Intermediate Girls
- Top 10 Finishes: Numerous top-ten individual placements across multiple divisions and the In It to Wynn It race!
- 2nd place overall: Intermediate Girls
We are so proud of our monarchs for their incredible sportsmanship, encouragement, and team spirit shown by every runner throughout the day.
A big thank you to the parents who drove students to the meet and provided extra supervision, and thank you to all the families who came out to cheer and support the team. Events like this aren’t possible without your support!
Way to go, team!
Terry Fox Update
What an unforgettable afternoon! Today, our school community gathered outside on the soccer field to celebrate our incredible efforts for the Terry Fox Foundation.
Thanks to the generosity of our Monarchs and their families, we officially brought our Terry Fox fundraising campaign to a close today. Every child who donated a “Toonie for Terry” got to take part in taping Mr. Cadeau-Mark to the wall—and as you can see in the photo below, he was a very good sport about it!
Because of your amazing support during our Thanksgiving push and throughout the campaign, our participating staff also donned their super silly costumes and faced off in a hilarious obstacle course relay race for the entire school to cheer on. You definitely won’t want to miss the highlights:
Thank you so much to all of our students, staff, and families who joined us today and contributed to such a worthy cause. We are so proud of our Monarch community!
