Terry Fox
What an incredible day! Our students and staff brought tremendous energy, heart, and school spirit to today’s Terry Fox Run. Seeing everyone out there running, walking, and cheering each other on in honour of Terry’s legacy was truly inspiring.
There’s Still Time to Fundraise! We aren’t quite at the finish line for our fundraising goal just yet, but there is still time to donate! You can continue submitting donations through next week to help us reach our target for cancer research.
Coming Up: The Ultimate Incentive! Mark your calendars— our Closing Ceremony will take place October 15th in the afternoon. Parents are welcome to join us. We will provide details on the time next week.
- Principal Taped to the Wall: As promised, our principal will be duct-taped to the wall for everyone to see!
- Inflatable Costume Obstacle Course: If we reach our fundraising goal, several of our brave teachers will don hilarious inflatable costumes and race through a special obstacle course!
Thank you to all of our students, families, and volunteers who made today such a huge success. Let’s keep that fundraising momentum going strong through next week!
Lockdown Drill – Thursday, October 8th, 2026
We like to make families aware of the first lockdown drill of the year. Teachers will also speak to students about what to expect in the event of a lockdown happening in the building. Future lockdown drills will not be announced.
Please take a moment to talk to your child about this

Boston Pizza – Operation Education
We are excited to share an easy way to help raise funds for our school! We are participating in the Boston Pizza Operation Education program in partnership with Boston Pizza Lindsay.
Through this program, our school receives a 5% rebate (before tax) on all Boston Pizza receipts submitted.
How You Can Help in 4 Easy Steps:
- Enjoy a Meal: Dine at Boston Pizza.
- Save Your Receipt: Keep the itemized receipt from your visit.
- Drop It Off: Drop your receipt into the Operation Education drop box located at the host stand inside the restaurant.
- Earn 5% Back: Our school receives 5% of the total pre-tax spend each month!
Spread the Word! Tell family, friends, and neighbours about the program—anyone can deposit their receipts into our school’s collection box to help us reach our fundraising goals.
Thank you for your continued support in making a real difference in our school community!
